About LeeHigh Setters
It all started about twenty years ago when I was old enough to help out with the bird dogs; that I fell in love with. We first started out breeding and training German Shorthair Pointers. After my father passed away I went in search for a hunting dog that accepts the cold climates of northeastern Pennsylvania . Therefore, I established LeeHigh Setters, which house my English Setters.
My setters perform exceptionally well in the pursuit of grouse and woodcock. Also tam birds such as quail, chukar and pheasant. The purpose of my selective breeding program is to obtain small, fast, snappy, hard working bird dogs with natural hunting abilities that point with a high head and tail.
All my dogs are very special to me and receive lots of training time, as well as personal attention. My kennels are rurally located to ensure they have the proper and necessary room to run.
We specialize in breeding English setters that excel in the woods and fields containing grouse and woodcock. At LeeHigh Setters, we take pride in our selective breeding program and feel that you will too, with a English setter from Leehigh. We are die hard grouse and woodcock hunters as well we also participate in cover dog grouse trials.
